What is Dental Extraction?
The process of removing a tooth from the mouth is called dental extraction. This is performed when dental restoration is impossible, to prevent other teeth from decaying as well. Dental extractions are also performed to remove impacted teeth or problematic wisdom teeth. Sometimes orthodontic treatment requires dental extractions, as well.
